Skopd ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by delacamp, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. We built Skopd to help families make intentional decisions about the media their kids consume. Your privacy matters deeply to us, and we are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your information.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Skopd website at getskopd.com, the Skopd mobile application, and any related services we provide (collectively, "the Service").
Skopd does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party tracking tools. We do not track your behavior across websites or devices. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard server-side request data (such as IP address and timestamp) for infrastructure purposes only — this data is not shared with us or used for any marketing or profiling.
Skopd uses only strictly necessary cookies. Specifically, we use a session cookie to keep you logged in to your account. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and does not track your activity across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any other non-essential cookies.
We do not collect payment card information. All purchases are processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
Skopd is designed for use by families. Accounts are created and owned by parents or legal guardians (18 years of age or older). Children do not create their own accounts. A parent sets up each child's profile, and any use of the App by a child takes place within — and under the control of — the parent's account.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 beyond the limited information needed for the App to work within a family account. A parent creates each child's profile and any information tied to it, such as a first name. Children may use the App under their family account — for example, signing in with a family PIN or submitting a request to have a title reviewed — but they cannot create accounts, make purchases, or publicly share personal information, and the parent account holder can see and control everything associated with their family.
As the account holder, a parent or legal guardian may at any time review the personal information we hold about their children, delete it, and refuse to allow any further collection. You can delete an individual child's profile, or your entire family account and all associated data, directly in the App's settings. You may also contact us at hello@getskopd.com and we will review, delete, or stop collecting the information as you direct.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without a parent's involvement, please contact us at hello@getskopd.com and we will promptly delete it.
Skopd is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents have full control over all data associated with their family's account.
Skopd uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:
Your names and email addresses are never sent to the AI. When Skopd runs an AI-powered review, it only sends the media title and your family's content criteria to Google's Gemini model. Your name, your children's names, your email address, and all other personally identifying information stay on our servers and are never included in any AI prompt.
We only share information with these services as necessary to operate Skopd. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption and security practices. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed to provide the Service. When you delete a child's profile or your family account — which you can do at any time in the App's settings — the personal information associated with it is removed from our active systems.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to:
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the App's settings. To exercise any of these other rights, contact us at hello@getskopd.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
